In the continued oddity of reverse scoreboard watching, the Canadiens actually had a pretty successful day on Sunday.
Both Minnesota and Edmonton picked up two points, at once virtually assuring the Canadiens will get at least a top-five selection at the draft and pushing them down to 29th overall in the league.
According to SportClub stats, even if the Habs finish the season with a 2-0-1 record - which would be quite decent - they still would have a 79% probability of retaining the 15th position in the East.
Brutal, eh?
