HabsAddict.com and AllHabs.net join forces to bring you Habstalk podcasts

HabsAddict.com is proud to announce our collaboration with AllHabs.net to bring you our first Habs podcast.

Rick, from AllHabs.net, and myself have been talking about working together for a few months now, and we are happy to be able to bring you our first collaboration today.

Below is the first of many podcasts to come so please send us your feedback so that we can continue to mold them to your liking.

In our first podcast, Rick and I discussed some of the highlights of training camp so far, young prospects Aaron Palushaj and Lars Eller, and we touch briefly on the Carey Price booing fiasco.

@Kamal @Rick really enjoyed listening to an intelligent, informed review of the kids by reviewers who've witnessed them firsthand at camp. I am optimistic that at least one or two of them will make the roster. Agree and sucks re: JM/Darche, my current pet peeve other than Pouliot. Loving the podcast thingy. Please keep it up!

I think, after last night's game, there is no question in my mind that White should start the season in Montreal.

I wonder who PG/JM will ditch to keep him. Pyatt? Halpern? Darche?

Given a choice, I'd choose to waive Darche. Halpern is an excellent PK specialist and a great faceoff man. Pyatt is speedy and fits into the mold of this team.

Darche, for all his heart, is just too slow. Dump him, I say...

I agree but this is JM we're talking about. I'm not holding my breath. Pyatt I'd keep. Halpern I'd be okay losing in favor of White. Guess we'll find out in a week or less.

Absolutely loved the podcast guys. I agree that it is refreshing to hear the comments from guys that follow the Habs day in and day out. Being from Alberta I get a chance to see the Habs live maybe once a year max. which sucks. I too am excited to see what Eller brings to the table. Looks as though maybe this might be the year Maxwell plays with the big club. I too would ditch Darche and give Pyatt/White/Pacioretty/Palushaj/Desharnais the chance to be a Hab and not a Bulldog. A note to the MTL fans/media...give Carey a break, Jaro is NOT coming back. No one is giving the thought that last years playoff run for Halak could have just been a flash in the pan and maybe this year Carey has his stellar playoff run. Rabid Habs fans need to 'chill' and say 'What if?'. Thats my 2 cents and I look forward to future Podcasts.

I remember it being tough being a Habs fan when I lived in Ottawa. Much less coverage, so I can definitley relate to your situation.

Although this year there is one HUGE game with the Habs out in Calgary (the Heritage Classic)!

Re: Maxwell, I like him a lot and he looks ready to make the jump, but I don't see where he fits in on the team.

That problem is compounded because he has to clear waivers—which WON'T happen—if they send him down to the minors.

Well said Re: Price and Halak! The fans need to relax a bit and give his kid some breathing room.

If they do that and actually support him whether he plays well or not, it can only help, and not hurt, him reach his potential!
