Kaberle's Impact, Gorges Upset, Garrison, MLSE Sale and More

Tomas Kaberle - New York Rangers v Carolina HurricanesHappy Monday.

Welcome to our revamped daily news recap. Namely, the new version of this section will feature some daily commentary and, on occasion, we will also offer our feedback on some of the articles we highlight from around the web.

Speaking of commentary, it seems that Tomas Kaberle had the desired effect on Saturday, as he obtained two assists in a 2-1 win over the Devils. Perhaps even more importantly, his presence seemed to awaken a previously dismal man advantage. As for his one-on-one coverage, such as on Nick Palmieri's goal, that is sometimes another story.

The Canadiens have managed to collect points in five straight contests. In fact, they have lost seven times in Overtime/Shootout and lead the league in that category. If not for the "loser point", the Habs would undoubtedly be out of the Playoff chase by now.
