It appears that the bidding for Shane Doan as officially opened as rumors have begun popping up on various sites.
According to RDS, the Montreal Canadiens have a definitie interest in the Coyotes captain.
A highly regarded winger, Doan has spent the entirety of his career with the Winnipeg/Phoenix franchise.
Currently 35 years old, it is believed he is unsettled by the continued ownership turmoil in the desert and may be looking for a chance to win his first Stanley Cup.
And, if winning is indeed a criteria, that would make Montreal an unlikely destination.
So, where do you think Doan will end up?

As you said Doan aint coming to Quebec and its 28th place team.
He will be a Canuck very soon.
Bet he stays in the desert. He really doesn't want to leave from what it looks like.
I can't see him coming to Mtl for a variety of reasons.
He would be a great pick up if he would consider it.
@Anon
Exactly. I don't know what insanity would fall upon him to make him sign in MTL at 35.
@HH
I agree. He prob stays in PHX. But, if he doesn't, something like LA or (as Anon points out) Vancouver makes sense.
