As you have undoubtedly heard by now, Montreal Canadiens' goaltender Carey Price is suffering from what the team is calling "headaches".
Others are simply reporting that he will be shut down the rest of the season. Either way, it seems he sustained his injury — probably a concussion — during practice last week.
In any event, not only does this put into doubt the rest of Price's NHL campaign, but it also casts a long shadow over any potential participation in the World Championships this spring.
It also creates an opportunity for punch lines about how Price has "mal a la tete" playing for the Canadiens. But I digress.
More to come, no doubt.
