Morning puck addicts!
Quite the day for your Montreal Canadiens yesterday, eh?
Things started off with the trade of veteran defenseman, Hal Gill, to Nashville. That moved signaled, in no uncertain terms, that the Habs are sellers. As such, expect lots more movement between now and the trade deadline.
Travis Moen (if or when he's healthy), Andrei Kostitsyn, Chris Camploi, amoung others, could all see themselves playing for new teams shortly.
Whatever happens off the ice, the Habs continue to win on it, pulling off a rare shootout win over the Sabres last night.
It really was opposites day yesterday: Pierre Gauthier pulled off a good trade, Chris Campoli, Tomas Kaberle, and Scott Gomez scored goals, and the Habs won in the shootout.
I guess I should go buy a lottery ticket!
